AAT Level 3 Apprenticeship 2022

We are looking for an apprentice Assistant Accountant to join our friendly accountancy practice in West Kirby.

We are offering a fantastic opportunity to start a career in accountancy. The successful candidate will be working on a diverse and interesting client base from the start and will gain access to a broad range of responsibilities to help develop their practical experience. There will be supervision, support and training throughout from our qualified and experienced team members. 

 The areas of work will include experience of:

• Bookkeeping
• Administrative duties including data entry, answering the telephone and taking messages, photocopying, filing and maintaining computer records
• Preparation of sole trader and company accounts
• Payroll processing 
• Tax returns

Any prior experience of the above will be a benefit but is not a requirement of the role and the successful candidate will receive full on the job training in addition to the AAT training provided by Kaplan in Liverpool.  

The role will be principally based at our offices in West Kirby but, as and when required, work may also be undertaken at our clients’ offices.  Our hybrid-working arrangements mean that a minimum of three days will normally be spent in the office per week.

Salary: £9.18 - £9.50 per hour (depending on age) plus other benefits

Package includes:  25 days annual leave, pension and other benefits.

Hours – 37.5 (flexible working hours between 8:30am and 5:30pm).
