Simon leads our compliance services team. He is an experienced chartered accountant and auditor and has held senior roles in London as well as locally before starting Lewis Evans
During his 25 years in practice Simon has had the benefit of working with what in the modern day is an unusually wide-ranging client base, consisting of a core of owner managed SME UK businesses but also a significant number of other interesting clients ranging from start-ups and charities to AIM and fully listed PLCs and large international groups. He is proud to be classed as one of the last of a dying breed of general practitioners but alongside that has also developed sector and audit specialisms over the years as well as extensive technical experience.
In his own time Simon is actively involved in the not for profit sector, assisting local charities and social entrepreneurs with their financial responsibilities and successfully helping new entrepreneurs to focus their strategies and obtain the funding needed to start out in business. Simon also enjoys watching Tranmere Rovers and spending time with his extended family who are also based on the Wirral.
